Dads make a world of a difference in a fam. This being said, your mental health is just as important during the Fourth Trimester as it is for mothers or your partners.

Here are 5 Tips I’ve come up with for you during The Fourth Trimester

  1. Know your outlets

  2. What makes you the most happy?

  3. What are your coping mechanics during stressful times?

  4. Who is your support?… studies show many new dads do not have a father figure to look up to, but do you have a good friend who is a dad or an uncle/grandfather you can talk with during The Fourth Trimester?

  5. Before your baby arrives communicate to your significant and figure out how you will be involved even in the early hours of your baby being born. You can perform skin-to-skin too in the hospital after that golden hour.
