Rhythm of Emotions

Rhythm of Emotions

Postpartum can have us a little or a lot moody + so can this crazy weather if you are in @chicago But! you know what, it is ok, allow your rhythms of emotions to flow as they come⚡️️

During Postpartum your flow of emotions have been conceptualized into something new and fab ️Matrescence + Patrescence Have you heard of them before?! I have posted about these a time or two but that’s because I hope to spread the word

Yesterday I was a little moody. So because I wasn’t feeling great, I did 3 ️️️things to help me lift my spirits and it really did help!!

Matrescence, (Patrescence) “like adolescence, matrescence describes a developmental transition that is hormonal, physical and emotional” @alexandrasacksmd

If you are feeling a little bogged down I invite you to try any of these 3 interventions

Stay committed! This could be staying committed to yourself for the day, or with someone. Even if it is something so little, you know it’s the little things that count️

Clean! Yesterday I cleaned my entire apartment️Cleaning relaxes me and puts me at peace inside and out! You too?!

Exercise! Yesterday I went outside for a run on the 606 and smiled at 2 cute boys I got 2 smiles back, and yes one was only about 7 months old

What do you do for a little boost?! Commit? Clean? Exercise?
