Foods to Help Boost your Mood

Need a little extra spring in your step?! Foods high in tryptophan which piece together serotonin are known to increase our moods. YAY for Postpartum! If your diet is plant based, meat friendly, breastfeeding friendly, dairy free, or any other crazy diet in-between I have at least 1 food for you to coordinate into your daily diet that will help shine your lovely glowing smile

OK so here is a quick list

1.     Apples. Blueberries. Yum with breakfast foods. Or dessert with some cheese! Yes cheese increases serotonin too- try cheddar!

2.     Spinach! Carrots! Chia seeds, nuts (Brazil!) Easy to integrate into your foods with little sprinkles or shavings on any grain, veggie or salad!

3.     Salmon, tuna, tempeh, lentils, beans, tofu, eggs, chicken- all proteins, pick one that fits your dietary needs

4.     Sweet potatoes, garbanzo beans. Yum for dinners, snacks or hey maybe even a pie!
